Peter Kypraios turned 17 years old on his way to Canada on the boat. Once he arrived to Canada he stayed with his brother in Oshawa and then settled in London, On. His first jobs were in grocery store and dish washing but he was soon absorbed in restaurants and specifically in the kitchen. He tried to make business in Kingston but after some legal implications they left and started restaurant business with his brothers in Toronto. He was actively involved with GOYA, AHEPAS and for sometime with the Greek Orthodox church of All Saints. The two big restaurants that he owned with his brothers in Toronto were Cyro's and Mercury. He then left from the city and stayed for a long time in Tobermory.
