Panagiota Triadafilopoulos (nee Pitsilivas) was born in 1941 in Pardali, Laconia, and grew up during the Second World War and Greek Civil War. She migrated to Canada after her sister. The latter had migrated as a domestic. Panagiota first settle in Montreal and worked as a hairdresser before moving to Toronto. She married, raised a family, and continued working as a hairdresser. She reflects on personal loss, describing her brother’s assassination, and her ties to Greece through faith, travel, and family.
