Fifi Mylopoulou was born in the 1940s in Thessaloniki but soon moved to Athens. She shares memories from the 1940s, reflects on her university studies and her eventual decision to pursue further education in Canada. After migrating to Toronto, she began working in the Greek Schools of the Greek Community of Toronto and earned a degree from the University of Western Ontario. She found a job as a reference librarian at the Scarborough Public Library, focusing on multicultural library services, curating both Greek and other ethnic collections. She also taught courses on public library services for multicultural communities at the University of Toronto. She shares stories about meeting her husband, their marriage, and her commitment to ensuring her children learned Greek.
