Athanasios Thanassoulias was born in 1930. After serving in the army, he operated a poultry farm in Aigio before migrating to Australia in the early 1950s. Following a brief return to Greece, he eventually settled in Canada. In Toronto, he opened a restaurant on Yonge Street. Thanassoulias employed fellow Greeks and reflects on his relationships with suppliers. After repatriating to Greece in the 1980s, he eventually returned to Canada. He concludes with reflections on identity and where he wishes to be buried.
