Born in 1950 in Arachova, Greece, Alexandros Alexakis grew up between his hometown and Athens. He served the Army in Corinth and Sparta. He immigrated to North America in the 1970s and built a long career with Krinos Foods, eventually becoming Vice President of Canadian Operations. In this role, he helped expand the company nationwide and played a key part in promoting Greek food culture through initiatives like Taste of the Danforth. He has supported Greek churches, the Hellenic Heritage Foundation, York University, and the Hellenic Home for the Aged.
