Greek Canadian Stories

The Oral History Collection was initially funded through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Partnership Development Grant “Greeks in Canada: A Digital Public History”, and aimed to conduct the timely collection of interviews of the stories of Greek Canadians, and to develop resources for teaching, research and disseminating the history of Greeks in Canada for the HHF Greek Canadian Archives. The Oral History Collection “Greek Canadian Stories” contributes to digital stories in combination with interactive maps featured in the Greek Canadian Archives, and provides tools for teaching and research material for digital public history exhibits. The project contributes to the historiography on migration, ethnicity, and homeland politics, while also reflecting on methodological approaches in Digital History.
