Jim Fabrikis was born in 1964 to Greek immigrant parents and grew up in London, Ontario. He pursued a career in education, becoming a teacher. Fabrikis became active in the Canadian Chapters of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), taking on leadership roles and promoting initiatives to expand membership and strengthen the Greek Canadian community. He recalls his involvement in AHEPA's work, including organizing events, meeting with politicians, and discusses the future of AHEPA and the Greek community in Canada.
